My Independent project idea

So basically for my Independent project i'll be doing a digital illustration of an article of the typhoon in the Philippines. The name of the article is "Philippine typhoon: Astrodome, once a refuge, now a place of misery" which i'll try to remake in a post apocalyptic art piece. With doing so i'll be trying to draw it in sketches then having it scanned onto a computer and colour it in with a graphic tablet.

MW Design is a company that is semi-professional with the intent to provide high quality and creative digital art and digital design pieces for our customers. MW Design has an open minded and understanding group of employees, with the ability to strive for success on any challenge given to them while making it enjoyable. For the MW Design logo

I used some simple principles of design like contrast,shape, and balance. The contrast would be at the bottom of the triangle where MW and design are placed to bring people's attention to both to catch their eye right away. For shape I used a 2D triangle that would also represent balance, structure, and stability which MW Design includes in the personality of the group. What i wanted to try and show in my logo was a company that had balance and could offer more than just good work without some personality and creative minds added, yet be simple and clean and straight to the point. Issues i encountered while working on this was how to display my initials in an eye pleasing way while having some meaning behind my whole logo. I'm sort of pleased with my result of my logo, since I don't know much about illustrator I would like to go back on my logo maybe in the late future and try to redesign one with more knowledge of the program. for the two other visuals i'll try to still have it have a simple and clean idea or i'll try to be more creative with it. For the animated logo i'll try to do the same with either having it simple or making it highly creative.
